Representative Matters

Represented a Condominium Association against a roofing company foreclosing on a mechanic’s lien. Obtained a release of the lien, dismissal of the foreclosure with prejudice, and a recovery of legal fees for the Association.

Defended a Condominium Association against a lawsuit for wrongful towing. Obtained a Final Summary Judgment in favor of the Condominium Association.

Successfully defended homeowners in improper Code Enforcement proceedings.

Hofit Lottenberg

Hofit N. Lottenberg is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lottenberg Law. Although her practice is diverse, Ms. Lottenberg focuses her practice on business and real estate litigation, with an emphasis on community association representation. Hofit prides herself on providing responsive, effective, and practical legal advice to her clients

Hofit is a “first call” community association lawyer who regularly counsels associations and their board members in connection with a variety of matters including corporate governance, compliance, violations, collections, and foreclosures. She often finds herself in court, representing clients in civil litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, foreclosure of liens, unjust enrichment, trespass, evictions, claims for surplus funds, and tortious interference.

Ms. Lottenberg also has significant involvement in local government and business matters. Hofit serves as Special Magistrate for The City of Cooper City, where she presides over code enforcement hearings. She also serves as Legal Counsel to The Greater Davie/Cooper City Chamber of Commerce and as a board member for The City of Cooper City Business Advisory Board.

Hofit enjoys educating the community, including new community association board members for whom she regularly organizes lectures to satisfy their statutory Board Member Certification, as promulgated by the DBPR, as well as providing continuing educatiom credits for Licensed Community Association Managers.

Hofit is fluent in Hebrew and proficient in American Sign Language. In her free time she enjoys boat captaining, live music, and spending time with her family.
